a break in the clouds

This original pastel is inspired by a photo I took of a coming storm. This is how the beginning of this year feels. Although the clouds are ominous, the light is breaking through. I am hopeful, even though I think we have more storm to go through.
(The actual storm did end and the sun did shine again!)
Original pastel on fabric covered matboard. It measures 11"x13.75".
It comes with a white mat and an acid free backing, outside measurement is 16"x20"
